8-Week Program Live Sessions Small Groups

Investing is mostly a feelings problem

Most people understand the basics of long-term investing. They know diversification matters, they've read about compound returns. What gets in the way is rarely knowledge — it's the anxiety during a market dip, the excitement that leads to impulsive decisions, the paralysis when numbers stop making sense emotionally. This program works on that gap directly.

What this program covers

Over 8 weeks, participants work through the specific psychological patterns that make investing harder than it needs to be. Sessions are small — no more than 12 people — and structured around real scenarios rather than theory. You'll leave with a clearer picture of how you personally respond to financial pressure, and a set of habits that hold up when markets get noisy.

Arcturus Flux has been running this program since 2023 with participants from across the region, mostly professionals who already have some investing experience but feel their own reactions working against them.

1

Mapping your emotional baseline

The first two sessions focus on self-assessment. You'll track your reactions to simulated market scenarios and start identifying which emotional triggers — fear of loss, FOMO, anchoring — show up most consistently for you.

2

Understanding behavioral patterns

Sessions three and four introduce the research behind common investing biases — not as abstract concepts, but tied to specific decisions participants have actually made. The goal is recognition, not judgment.

3

Building decision-making habits

Weeks five and six are the most practical. You'll work through structured decision frameworks designed to slow down reactive thinking. These aren't rules to follow — they're prompts that help you notice when emotion is driving the wheel.

4

Stress-testing under pressure

The final two weeks run live scenario exercises where participants practice applying what they've learned under simulated pressure. The group setting matters here — observing how others respond is part of how insight sticks.
